Apple will gradually introduce its new Intelligence capabilities over several months, hoping to avoid the flaws that have afflicted other AI systems. Also, the business makes significant progress with the Vision Pro’s software; the new iPad Pro paves the way for thinner iPhones; an update on the OpenAI alliance; and a new satellite-texting function is slated to become Apple’s latest premium service.
The keynote presentation at last week’s Worldwide Developers Conference also did not include the specific changes that will be available in the autumn. Instead, Apple provided a road map for late 2024 and the first half of 2025.
That rollout approach represents a significant departure for Apple. For years, the business introduced enhancements at WWDC for release in the fall, but they occasionally had to delay things around. This time, Apple is informing people through its website, online presentations, and press conferences that its latest technology will not be released on a fixed time limit.
